    Based On A True Story!
Rescued by Ruby is based on a true story which makes it that much better, especially when you get to one of those scenes that tugs at your heart strings.

The story follows Ruby a rescue dog who is adopted by a police officer who wants her to be his partner for the K9 unit. What follows is their adventures together as they work hard to become a team and compete with the other k9 units who are all German Shepherds while Ruby is not. The story is really good and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

The casting is also amazing from the dog they have playing Ruby to Grant Gustin playing her owner and police officer Daniel. Great performance by him, loved it and want to see more of Grant Gustin in big movies. The beautiful Kaylah Zander plays Melissa, Daniels wife, and is a supporting figure to him throughout the movie. She gives us a great performance as well and I look forward to seeing her in future movies.

Vfx and Sfx are good, no complaints there. Just a good movie all around.

Overall a well deserved 8/10 from me. If you're a dog lover or just want to see a feel good movie definitely give this one a shot!

[6.9] Through 3 meters of smart concrete
A touching movie, fun to follow with good acting on its own terms, a great semi-crazy, very intelligent, hyper active, adorable dog.

The emotions are well shown and depicted with adorable cheesiness along the way, complemented with a nice flow, bearing high value entertainment, with deep messages scattered throughout, a little soft and sweet, having no negativity at all, making it great for kids and family alike.

This sort of entertainment is best shown and depicted as a limited series having viewers in awe of the beautiful intelligent dogs, making them root more for them, while being thoroughly entertained.

As such , it is still good but microscopically predictable.

Nevertheless, lovely , for animal lovers and grumpy people alike. Making both group smile with moist eyes.

Grant is more super hero in this than Flash
Mr Gustin puts his heart in this true movie as do the other performers including dog playing Ruby. Unfortunately not enough people in real life are giving their problem children either human or canine that extra mile. Bless the troupe for this story.

    Great feel good movie
Anyone who doesn't like this movie doesn't have a heart. I don't know what some of the reviewers here want for a dog movie? These aren't blockbusters. Just wholesome fun. The acting is solid. The story line is solid. And you have a smile on your face when it's over. Well worth a watch.
