    Formulaic But Fine
Fun for the family, but it's unusual for a film based on true events to be so formulaic and predictable. A simple storyline following a professional football coach's reconnection with his son through his disastrous team, despite its source, Home Team follows the same route countless films have done before.

Not overly funny, but entertaining and enjoyable, with the only poor acting coming from the expected cameos. James plays the lead well, whilst Schneider remains securely in his pigeon-holed role.

    Full of cliche
You can watch it and even enjoy. But you will not find in Home Team something fresh, new and different. It's a standard sport film for those who like this genre.

    Not a comedy
Very bland not funny it was a bland unfunny movie about nothing it's not even heart warming it's just a big nothing movie. I don't even know what was the point in the movie it has know teaching moments he still leaves his kid in the end and goes back to his old coaching job if he didn't get suspended he would have not reunited with his son it was like wel I'm not coaching I'll go coach my sons team it's boring.
