    Story to learn
No pun intended - usually we are the heroes of our story. Unless someone else is writing our story - we might end up being the antagonist then ... which seems to be the case for Peter Rabbit. I wasn't sure if the humans were aware that the animals are able to understand and communicate - I mean they do talk all the time ... but it is not the case as the movie makes clear at the beginning.

Of course you have to suspend your disbelief. And not take things for granted - bunnies are not supposed to eat sweets (which are bad for any pet of course), but a sugar rush is supposed to make you laugh. Again, don't take things too seriously and go with the flow. There is a lesson (or two) to be learned ... which most adults are able to detect and see way before the movie is giving it away. Yes I am saying it is predictable ... still it is quite fun to watch and the story and journey of Peter Rabbit goes on .. I wouldn't mind if another movie came out in the future.

    No animal cruelty warning
I loved all Beatrice potter books growing up so keen to watch the movie adaptations. One thing that has not been called out is the animal cruelty scene within this film. As a rabbit owner the scenes following the pet shop are shocking, many of the actions would have killed a rabbit so this is disgusting. These scenes have made the film deserve a 0/10.

Cute but why the fkn baby?
Why the eff did they give beatrix potter a stupid effing baby? In real life she never had kids as her focus was the hill top farm! Enough with the pronatalist bs already especially when it does little to reflect her actual life!
