    It hurt to watch it
I expected a relaxing entertaining zombie flick. I swear I was not going to judge it harshly. And yet it was so disappointing that I reset my forgotten password and writing this review. Let's review several things that make it so terrible. Let's talk about zombies. These zombies, they are not zombies, they are some weird people from art house project trying to convey a complex message by an edge young director. And following this topic, movie itself wanders away from the plot and possible unraveling. It is a very weird not zombie movie that is not worth watching. I have watched most more or less worthy movies. I watched ravenous which was weird but to me was much much more enjoyable.

    So wildly unoriginal
It started out decent, but from the second they get to the safe it was almost unwatchable. I honestly would have given it a 7 out of 10 up til that point. Just fun and dumb, acting wasn't horrible, just enjoyable overall up until that point. There were some cheesy moments and lines, but you could look past it for the most part.

After the safe though, it was just so dumb I could barely even finish it. There were quite a few things you could see coming from the beginning but I could have dealt with it. After that you could have finished the script on your own if youve ever seen any zombie apocalyptic movie before.

The fact that this was 180 minutes long also blow my mind.

    Horrible
I loved army of thieves it was great and I knew what the next one would be about based on some foreshadowing but I couldn't predict how garbage it would be the main character from army of thieves is now insane and stupid and they kill him off even tho he could of saved himself to and the zombie transformation timing was all messed up and honestly I couldn't tell if a scratch would infect someone or not cuz in the begging the guy just got his jaw pulled off no biting so what'd that about idk its such a bad movie that ruined such a good movie for me and I can't believe they came up with this plot I was js so confused.

Watch Army of Thieves, not this
This as a sequel is surprisingly misleading as it was introduced at the end of the first film, suggesting the Dietr will have a significant role this time around.

This is reminiscent of an episode of the 90's incarnation of Hercules whereas random zombies would pop up, pose, then attack on cue.

The actors in this film do not show any signs of getting to know each other at all, perhaps they were socially distancing, or filmed at different times / locations?? I don't know, but it simply doesn't look like they are all in the same film.

Now, talking about Army of Thieves, the prequel, go check it out. It has cool character gelling, the actors spent time to get to know each other, and have some decent witty lines thrown in. It has a central character that we follow throughout the storyline, and keeps you interested.

Zack Snyder in his decaying years
I'll admit it I don't watch a lot of his movies, but I did watch 300 and this one. Apparently Mr. Snyder is a good director, at least a successful one. Well, this B-movie, is pretty crap. It's like nobody directed it really.

On top of that, useless camera shake (what is the cameraman trying to tell us?), generous use of the black diffusion filter and turning down the blacks (to the point that all is too dark) and platitudes exchanged between the characters, with non-contributing intermezzos all across this movie.

I had to write this review, because, to add insult to the injury, this crapola was 2:30h long.

    Blacklisting this director.
