    Surprisingly straightforward crime thriller
This movie is a tonal and structural departure for Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham. Ritchie dispenses with his typical quippy characters, flashy camerawork and comedic violence to tell a dark, relatively grounded and "serious" crime story. Statham starts out playing to type as a one-man-army hardcase with an unshakeable moral code; but his character becomes more sinister as the movie progresses. The ostensible antagonists are also developed instead of just being disposable henchmen for Statham to tear through.

Some pretty significant plot contrivances aside this an enjoyably violent, gritty revenge thriller that's reminiscent of - but not quite as dour as - the cynical crime movies of the 1970s.

    Good Action Film!
This movie was spectacular and jason statham's performance is fascinating. The plot was great and it delivers a non-stop action.

H was a guard for the armored vehicle which has a unique skills that he uses in combat whenerver there is a threat.

The scene where he save the life of his co-worker named "Bullet" was epic, he only releases six shots that killed the robbers/thief.

H's son was killed by the hijackers and he tracks them down in order to find out the killer. This brought me to a suspense scene wherein it shows how his son was killed.

Overall this is a good movie and it was worth to watch 7/10.

Typical revenge movie with the creative editing signature of Guy Ritchie.
"Wrath of a Man" is the typical action packed Hollywood movie with Jason Statham. It is pure brainless entertainment, perfect if you want to just see some flying bullets. The story is well developed, but the director played safe and he made something that has been proposed to the audience countless times over the decades. Nothing wrong with that, but from a filmmaker such as Guy Ritchie I was expecting way more. We are far away from the quality level of "The Gentlemen" and "Snatch". However, this movie has its own pros. For starters, the editing is nice and creative. I liked that the plot was non-linear. H's timeline is revealed in small chunks and we slowly discover his motives. The payback for the audience is not huge, but it is still enough to keep watching it, at least for me. Secondly, the acting is pretty good, and there are several class-A actors, so you will get some decent performances. The characters are stereotypical, basically you can find them in every average American action flick, but they work and make the film flow. There is really nothing else to say about Ritchie's latest job: it looks overall very lazy. A real disappointment, considering the resources and the talents that this big production had.

    Good but not great
Jason Statham does what he does best and this film is very enjoyable thanks to very good acting and a entertaining story. This is an interesting film with good pacing. The biggest issue that I have is that the rewatch factor for this film isn't really there. This is a very good movie DEFINITELY worth your time but sadly I can't see myself watching this particular movie that much. It's not a one and done film but it's probably only good for a second or third viewing at the most. Aside from that I do enjoy this movie and if you are a Jason Statham fan YOU PROBABLY WILL TO. I think you'll have a good time.

    The murder keeps on coming.
Well the movie kept me on the edge of my seat in a perverse kind of way . Knowing Guy Ritchie and Jason Stratham my expectation level was high. But it's killer movie for sure but served up in a "here's your mash potatoes " now eat up . If you know what I mean .Rather thick without the gravy. Yeah but the Brits serve up their meat cold.. I love J S and I revere Guy Ritchie but this movie was dark and dark it should be .We have Afghani elite trained killers in our midst and they are hungry for action and want better action than the cash scene in LA It seemed like even the humanizing show of the vet was very dark . Very dark these are the worst vets that could be . Maybe it takes a Brit to show us what 20 yrs of war have done to to us. We be brutal Theirs no laughs in this on Mr. Ritchie.
