    Some basic explanations
This movie is actually a good movie in my opinion and it is a good suggestion for those who are usually looking for a mystery movie and some kind of surprise, but one thing about this movie is that this movie is known as a horror genre,But it has no scary scenes and only a series of exciting scenes. The story of the movie is interesting and I do not recommend it to those who are looking for action scenes. The only thing that drew my attention to this movie is actually a story that the director of the movie is hiding from the audience and reveals it at the end of the movie... I am very picky in choosing movies and I don't like every movies, But this movie is so good that I give it a score of seven, I'm not saying it's a great movie, but it's worth watching and I hope you enjoy it like I did.

    Surprisingly good horror/thriller
I went into this movie fully expecting it to be cheesy. The "scary kid" trope has been done tons of times, and I really didn't think this movie would bring anything interesting. Boy, was I wrong.

I really only have good things to say about this film. The acting is great, the plot is intense, and there's never a dull moment. It's eerie, without being over the top. It's scary, but doesn't resort to unnecessary nasty or graphic scenes. It's intriguing, and it manages to be a bit unpredictable. You think you know where a movie like this is going, and then it surprises you.

If you like spooky, thrilling movies. This is a must-see.

    Good ass movie
    Amazing movie!!!

Orphan is one of my favorite thriller movies of all times. It has all the good ingredients to a good suspense thriller! ( Spoiler) The plot twist at the end was mind blowing that Esther wasn't a child and that she was a grown women. This movie makes you lean at the edge of your seat and Isabelle Furhman is a good actress playing a manipulative killer. Honestly, I don't know if there's not to like about this film. Highly recommended! (I am also very VERY EXCITED for the prequel). I 100% recommending you to watch this movie .

*don't recommend any children under 14,15 watch it.

    Horror as it should be
In the universe will all horror movies have become cliche, this hidden sham shows how it is possible to create a masterpiece without spending millions of dollars and copy pasting from all the previous movies.

Despite starting a little bit slow, every single moment of this movie is worth it. The story was detailed to the line. The acting was remarkably good. Every scene was into the story and there were no fillers.

This movie should be a template for future wants to come. Everything in this movie was well timed. Despite being 12 years old, it has the potential to be an icon for horror movies.

Good story, good acting, very annoying character
Basically the acting are very good, the story is quite decent.. But why did the writer make a very very stupid husband character?

He is so passive, dull, blindly trust Esther, and blindly untrust the wife.. Very annoying and stupid character, who makes the plot story very annoying too..

If the husband character was kinda wise and objective, the story will end very quick.. But because of that character, the story develops very annoyingly.. I guess that's what the writer wants..

And also why max and Daniel didn't tell the mom?

They can easily tell the mom secretly and then they together tell the stupid husband, maybe during Esther school time, so that she doesn't know...And the story can finish peacefully..

But once again, I think the writer want s the viewers got annoyed in the entire of the story..

Other than that, the other aspects are quite good..
