As a fan of Sandra Bullock I should have given this a swerve 😕
On paper this probably looked like it couldn't fail, four top notch household name actors with many successful films between them, as an action comedy romp in the jungle, BUT the deal with comedy is that it has to make you laugh. It just didn't. There needs to be a believable relationship with some chemistry on screen, there wasn't. This felt like a film where the actors just went through the motions and took the pay, did they not realise how bad it was or did they not care. Daniel Radcliffe seemed miscast as a strange baddie and he didn't portray any believable threat or nastiness that you might expect. It looks like Brad Pitt had a fun time in his role but Sandra Bullock (looking a bit weird and a lot less like Sandra Bullock of 10 years ago) just felt completely flat and disinterested, low key acting to the extreme. Channing Tatum played a body obsessed half wit much of the time, but maybe showing a lot of flesh was meant to draw women to the cinema. The plot was just complete nonsense. The potential was there for this to be an entertaining film but they blew it. Interesting to note that Sandra Bullock was one of the producers, maybe she should have spotted that this was a turkey early on and done something about it. Maybe it was just a case of a film being written by committee with them trying to hit all the usual scenes expected in a loosely rom-com adventure genre, sadly it was well wide of the mark.

    What a saliste of time
Over AND over AND over again we ser her paliyng the same character. A fried AND bitter perdón with problems to give her opinión to the rest of the characters. Why she has to so the same thing? One Time it could be funny but always... No. This movie Is puré crap. There's no comedy timing. The story Is good but the screenplay pretty bad. The director Is also pretty bad. Brad Pitt doest it wonderfully AND also Daniel Radcliffe. But this Is not their movie. Sandra Bullock's acting i wodden AND Chaning Tatum act like he Is paying two different people. One in the first half, other in the last half. Don't lose your time.

Obvious green screen and bad lighting
Watched this film on whim on Netflix without knowing too much about it or who starred in it. Pleasantly surprised by the cast. Sandra Bullock has never really been my favourite actor as she always seems to lack and true grit and is always namby pamby in her acting style. Daniel Radcliffe is always brilliant and brings life to this movie. If you can imagine Indiana Jones meets Magnum P. I. meets Murder she wrote then you get th epicture. A nice cameo by Brad Pitt looking as hot as ever adds to the attraction. My main gripe with this movie was the obvious green screening and terrible outdoor studio lighting. It was very obvious sadly and would've expected better editing in that respect. All in all it was an enjoyablr adventure but with probably an expected ending.

    It should have stayed lost!
This is one of those rare films that has an incredibly talented cast, a monstrous budget, and a massive advertising campaign yet still winds up being nearly impossible for an intelligent person to sit through. Yes. It's that bad. Cringy as could be. Unfortunately nowadays these rare films are becoming all too common. Wokeywood desperately needs some new writing talent!

Good if you know what you wanted.
I think the negative reviews are quite unfair.

If you expected "Indiana Jones", do your homework.. I gave it a "7" to compensate the low ratings watching it as a single male. As a single male it's quite OK, Dash progresses quite nicely.

This is a wonderful family adventure movie.

Letting Brad Pitt getting killed with a heafshot early in the movie is quite brilliant.

Those of you that have seen the Dolby Atmos version (it's a limited BD of Dolby Atmos Videos from Pioneer I believe) of Ricky Martins "la vida loca", filmed in some Latin country, can see where the influce to the dance of Dash and Loretta came from.

It's a light weight family movie the whole family will like.

    Silly Fun
Just wanted to watch something I wouldn't have to think about. Something that was just mindless, ridiculous and fun. Bingo! Never been a big fan of Channing Tatum but he was great in the part of an airhead cover model. Sandra Bullock played the roles she is best in rom-coms. Brad Pitt had me and stitches as the over-the-top living action figure. He was great. Wasn't impressed with Daniel Radcliffe his part could have been played by anybody. It was the perfect movie for just having fun and not having high expectations. Every movie can't be Academy Award material. Some are just made for us to have fun watching them.

    Absolute Drivel
What made three very good comic (and dramatic) actors get involved with this piece of rubbish? Trying to be a rehash of The Proposal (without Ryan Reynolds) this poorly scripted piece of nonsense starts without an idea and goes downhill from there. A bit of madcap humour is fine but this gets it all wrong with weird ultra-violence thrown in for laughs (a character's blood and brains scattered across Channing's face!). The movie looks cheap too with poor sets and cgi that are only as convincing as the dreadful script. If you want to waste 90 minutes go sit in a darkened room rather than watch this...
