    Great fun!
Do Revenge is a really fun and stylish teen movie that fans of the genre will be sure to love.

There are some great twists and turns in the plot so I won't go into too much detail, but it draws it's central conceit from Strangers on a Train with so many throwbacks and homages to classic teen movies. All of this is thrown together to make a really fun movie stuffed full of drama and decent comedy as well.

The performances are really good, particularly from Camila Mendes who is magnetic on screen and could not have been more perfectly cast. Maya Hawke matches her well, and there's a brilliant collection of supporting characters and performances too.

Most of all though this movie excels in its aesthetic. The wardrobe department knocked it out of the park, as did the set designers. The music choices too were all top notch.

I wasn't necessarily expecting great things from Do Revenge but it really surprised me. A really fun and quality teen movie!

    Solid
I normally don't write reviews but the ones I read for this one I thought were misleading. Of course it's subjective but I don't know what else you would've expected for a movie like this. I thought it went above and beyond in many ways. The casting was questionable for a few roles, but the leads were very strong. The writing was better than most chick flicks, and the twists were unexpected but not forced. The soundtrack was amazing! In some ways I think it must've been a love letter to some of the older chick flicks like mean girls, clueless, and John tucker must die. Many of the reviews I read said they didn't make it past the first 30 minutes. I agree it starts off cheesy and builds slowly, but why leave a review? You didn't even watch the movie.

I will say it didn't make me laugh all that much, but it had my attention and I feel it was time well spent. There were even some valuable life lessons in it about being careful who you keep close. If you are looking for a dramatic chick flick with some funny moments and a great sound track, definitely give it a chance!

    Great Storyline
Everything about this movie was glamorous and engaging. From the costumes to the soundtrack all aspects of this film kept me interested the whole time. I loved watching the dynamic between Drea and Eleanor (the two main characters) and watching them grow. As I mentioned before, this movie was extremely glamorous. The entire vibe was really girly and colorful, which I loved watching.

In terms of the actual storyline itself, I adore it. The idea alone is really hooking and I love the plot twist. As the audience, it really had an impact on how I viewed the characters. Totally recommended to anyone looking for a fun, twisted teen movie.

    Gen z Teen movie fs
This movie is really accurate with its references, style, hooks and just overall vibe. It's very gen z oriented and I kind of love it. Lots of movies that try to capture gen z just end up overly corny, clearly created by someone who doesn't get gen z. But as part of the controversial generation this movie mixed some fun things were actually into with some cool twists and some extra typical teen movie stuff like drugs , love and violence. Anyways felt like a cute movie for teens and I appreciated the lack of cringe. Felt like there could have been a bit better romance or at least the way romance was presented but overall good job.

    Big Slay
This is the definition of a perfect american teen film.

It's so cringe but also so perfect for the genre. The plot is interesting and quick-paced, everyone is perfectly casted and Camila Mendes kills it. In fact, the entire cast shoots it out the park, do they look way too old? Yes, do I care? No.

    It is perfect!

The plot twists work perfectly and Max is exactly the right amount of horrible for it to all mesh together.

The design of the film is aesthetically pleasing, the colour palette is always on the right side of slay and the OUTFITS, they are incredible!!!

This is a very easy to watch film that I think is a perfect comfort film.

    90s film made nowadays...........
I enjoyed this quite a lot. Both actresses did a great job. The script was entertaining, and the comedy was good. It felt like one big nostalgia trip for anyone who liked films like Mean Girls. I loved the twist they pulled at the end of the film though, it made the film more memorable and kept it original while being nostalgic. I do think it has a little bit of a long runtime and I don't think everything gets resolved. It kind of just ends. But overall, I think this was a fun, funny and entertaining high school comedy. And I think people who like these kind of films will like this one without a doubt.
