Other critics are not very valid
I thought this movie was amazing. Other critics reviews are based on the fact that, spoiler alert, we don't know where the aliens come from. But in reality, we don't need to. It was a great movie, intense for children, but just overall entertaining. The cat story line was great and it kept me and everyone in the theater hooked. Returning to the statement that it is intense for children, we get to see half of New York get destroyed by the Aliens. If I were 10 and saw that, I'd have nightmares for weeks. Please don't take your kids to see this, but it is a fantastic film, honestly a really good prequel to the other films in this series.

Best out of all the films so far!
The first to 'A Quiet Place' films felt like predictable formula film - aliens, a few jumps - you know what you're getting. But this film stands apart for the rest and could have been a stand alone movie. The tone of the film is completely different and whilst it still adheres to the aliens and jump scares predictability there was a much more delicate and subtle approach taken (perhaps due to the condition of the main character). The shots, dialogue, cinematography was beautiful at moments - poetic, very "artsy". I think it's the best one so far! Well worth the cinema trip.

Spoiler: Really enjoyed the scene in the Jazz club when he performed the magic trick in silence - absolutely beautiful moment with the music and the shots were 10/10.

    Sad ending but well done.
