10 out of 10 Rating. However, something tells me to input a 6.66 review
Amazing movie, cast, and crew. Awesome performance. I finally have a chance to comment about this movie and how close it strikes a chord in a guitar (whether it be an air guitar) and a beat (like one from a drum set varied by brand name). The ending though, reminds me of the movie Ghost. A true, real, classic of a movie as is the mansion it was filmed and based out of and its past history. It was an honor to meet the Foo Fighters band up close and personal that one day, or the other. So many memories from the people I remember to the main actress that I care of the most in Hollywoods new history being made on film.

    So cheesy it's brilliant
Having been a fan of Foo Fighters for over 2 decades it took a surprisingly long time to finally get round to watching this, but oh my god it was worth the wait!!

Dave Grohl is at his brilliant best throughout the film, he's a natural showman in whatever he does and the rest of the band are equally brilliant. The appearances of Kerry King, Lionel Richie and John Carpenter were also fantastic.

The thing I love about it the most is that it's not a serious attempt at horror. At. All.

The classic horror cliches are all in there with some fantastic laugh out loud moments. It could have easily been a 2 hour Foo Fighters/Tenacious D music video.

You just can't go wrong with this kind of horror/comedy, gruesome and funny in equal measure and definitely worth a watch.

    Your New College Dorm Flick
Yes, it's a movie that is campy. Yes, it is not scary. Yes, the acting is terrible. Yes, it feels and looks low-budget (it's true intention btw). And yes, it is funny asf!!!

The movie is already becoming a cult classic, and I can go as far as comparing it to the likes of Animal House, Caddy Shack for it's campy-ness crude humor to definitely being compared to the Evil Dead series for absolute similitudes.

If you are looking for a flick to jump scare you into sleeping with the lights on, you are in the wrong crowd with this one. However, if you have constant Friday night student parties going around you, this movie will sure find it's calling afterwards.

Only for the diehard fans of the Foo Fighters
This was pretty bad and unfortunately not in a good way. I am a fan of the Foo Fighters but even I could see this was just a vanity movie for the rick stars. It was kinda funny in a couple of spots. The gore was on the heavy, but campy silly side. The acting was just bad. The plot line was barely there and silly.

Why they didn't use more of Will Forte I can't understand! He was barely in the film and the only one who could act or who was funny. I guess they couldn't have him outshining the band.

The music was some rockin' heavy metal, but not enough to save this film for me. Nor the musical inside jokes. I can't recommend it.

    FUN!!
This movie is just plain fun to watch.

I resurrected my account from 15 years ago just to say this.

It doesn't take itself seriously, it doesn't try to be something it's not.
