    Pleasantly surprised
I love the Chosen series. When I heard about the Christmas special and that it was going to be at the theaters, we were planning on going. When we heard that it was going to be mostly music videos my expectations went down and we decided to watch it at home and plan to make a donation. I LOVED it when I wasn't expecting to love it so much. The music was great. The monologues were amazing. That was the unexpected jewel. There were 4 monologues by actors from the series and they were just amazing. Then the discussion with the artists who were involved just before "The Messengers" episode ran was really great. Once we finished watching the whole thing I regretted not going to the theater. With the right audience it would have been even better. My advice would be to watch it with the expectation that yes, there will be lots of music, yes there will be some talking and yes, there will be an episode of the Chosen to enjoy as well. People must know! The only thing I would have changed was the introduction in the live stream by Dallas Jenkins was way too long. He is a phenomenal director and gets so excited to show what he has made that he sometimes forgets to step out of the way and let us just watch it. Other than that, perfection!

    Exactly as advertised
Beautiful music and a beautiful film! Are some of these bad reviews atheist trolls, because the "Christmas special" was exactly what iDallas said it would be . He dis not promise a full-length feature film. The negative and hypercritical reviews don't sound very Christian with the bad attitudes and actual lies about what was going to be presented hurt "The Chosen TVV show. I am not a huge fan of some contemporary Christian music, but I really enjoyed all of the music in "Christmas with The Chose"-The Messengers, and want to hear more. The Messengers was wonderful as well.

    Heretical Garbage
This is nothing but a money grab from an already heretical show removing the deity of Christ. The influences from the Roman Catholic Church and Mormon religion are so obvious that anyone outside the church will see the parallels. Don't waste your money on this trash.
