dangerfox-90110 - 27 June 2024 Enjoyable and cute! A very solid fun movie.
The cast is very good we got Chris Pratt , Samuel L. Jackson, Harvey Guillen and other cool people and all of them did a very good voice performance
The animation is fresh and the parts where he eats the food in a cartoonish way is very well done and overall the animation in this movie is solid
The story is also good Garfield goes into a thrilling heist that takes some turns here and there and it's a fun ride
The character designs are also good especially otto's characters design and every other character has been drawn in a very good way
Overall a very fun solid movie 8.3/10.
oliviacwilmot - 14 June 2024 no nermal :( I am a certified lover of garfield but i have to say this movie was very good but dissapointing the plot was great and the characters were also, im still not happy about chris ratt being garfields voice actor, it was a great plot about garfield being sad because hes fatherless, (L + RATIO) i loved the movie and odie was cool, it wasnt that long though, which is my complaint it could've been 2 hours while the other half of the movie is just staring at a png of nermal. I would just watch that half of the movie ALONE. It would be a top 10 movie, we need a nermal movie, i'd watch it if it was 5 hours of looking at nermal. It would've been a 10 with nermal. BUT NO NERMAL!!!! >:(
jasonmeng-76563 - 6 June 2024 well, its, Garfield, but not THE Garfield I have great expectations when finding a new Garfield movie coming up. But when I really start watching it, it inevitably fell flat. The trailer and the beginning part of the film have already showed me that it's an original film. Well I have no problem with that. But frankly, it should at least be a Garfiled movie, it sure have some characteristics of it, but it really don't have the needed essence of Garfield. I started to get bored probably at the first 30 minutes. This is Garfield, yes, but only a cheap replica of the original one. I think it is already a major problem in Hollywood right now, that many writers and directors, when they are writing or directing some great IPs of many's childhood memories, they started to think that they can't make a movie popular if they stick to the origianl stories, so they are seeking for originality, but for most of the cases they are making up a complectly new story without the soul of the original one and eventually ruining the entire movie. I think, maybe if you don't have the ability to come up with an original story that will be satisfying to the audience, for many of them are great fans of this IP, why just don't just stick to the original and make it comes to life on movie screens? And that would be a win win situation for everyone.
