    Bravo!
Clever and frightening! Excellent film: from Jordan Peele's previous work "Get Out" to this one, he has taken a step of seven leagues in execution and in originality introducing a universal metaphor that scares everybody, when you are in front of an exact replica of yourself, although with differente intentions. It evokes the pure horror of similar situationas, as in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". Besides, the poetic figure that supports the entire drama, of the rising of the oppressed in a horror film scheme, advances and closes brilliantly with a final wink. Very good characterization of Lupita Nyong'o in her role as the worker in red overalls. Bravo, seƱor Peele!

    Symbolism - 100 but Story - 0
    >The story focuses on symbolism and hidden meanings so much that the makers forgot to write the story. Maybe Jordan should take inspiration from his own work 'Get Out' on how to balance the symbolism and story.

    >The plot holes... You may have already read other reviewers pointing out all the plot holes in the movie. The funny thing is even if you overlook all those mistakes/plot holes the movie still feels incomplete.

    >The movie never allows you to guess. At any given point in time the movie itself tells you what's happening/what'd happened or it gives you too little information to keep the viewer engaged.

Very good but weak male characters
Suspenseful, do not read spoilers, ruins it. Not really sure what happened at the end!

Unfortunately characters were typical Hollywood - showed a weak dad, annoying daughter, overly heroic wife who saves the day or does she? So many scenes where characters struggled were easily remedied - just slide the table? Why not kill as many as possible? Run them over. Why acquiesce to getting handcuffed? Why not just hide, why drive? Why does she keep getting out of the car? Was she really the clone all along? Great concept not sure what the hands across America had to do with it. Overall very good but gory movie.

    HORRIBLE
Really weird movie, did not enjoy watching.. normally we like thriller /horror but this was an absurd story line and bad script . I don't recommend.

Unique idea, possibly good lore, ruined by lack of effort
The lore of this movie is interesting and fairly unique. There's a lot of potential here.

The execution though is lazy and ruins what could have been great. Nearly every action that every character takes is done for no other reason than to get them to their next set piece. No logic, no explaination, just 'character A do X now'.

Then you have the bigger problem of the lore just not being thought through. It really would have taken a simple dialogue rewrite to elevate if from a C movie to a B on that front.

Supposedly there's a twist in it, but it's so obvious I don't think you can call it that.

So yeah, average slasher movie, had a lot of potential but ruined by lazy, lazy writing.

Adelaide Wilson/Red (Lupita Nyong'o) and Kitty Tyler/Dahlia (Elisabeth Moss)
    Favorite scene with

    Adelaide Wilson/Red (Lupita Nyong'o) -

Adelaide Wilson (The Real Red) - The Home Invasion scenes in her and her Family's Summer Home.

Red (The Real Adelaide) - The Home Invasion scenes in Adelaide and her Family's Summer Home.

Lupita Nyong'o is Brilliant in this movie as both Adelaide and Red! You feel for both characters - not really knowing if they're TRULY GOOD or TRULY EVIL.

    Kitty Tyler/Dahlia (Elisabeth Moss) -

Kitty Tyler - The Home Invasion scene in her and her Family's Summer Home. Love the Music choices!

Dahlia - Putting on Kitty's Lipstick, Smiling in the mirror, watching her Husband being Killed, Very Upset, being Attacked, Attacking back, and Killed.

I Love Elisabeth Moss in this movie! You both Love and Hate her Dual Characters Kitty and Dahlia! Talk about being SO VERY VAIN!

Jordan Peele's Sophomore movie is both Frightening (especially the Home Invasion scenes of both the Wilsons and the Tylers) and Hilarious! He is a Brilliant Writer and Director!
