The hypocrisy of Britain and extreme levels of political correctness
It is appalling to see a country like Britain being shown as the good moralistic side in almost all of 2nd world war movies/ series..

A country which still had colonies, ruled over many countries forcefully at the point of the gun, made them forcefully participate in the war, starved them to death by creating famines.. When that country is shown as the epitome of goodness - oh the hypocrisy..

And in this movie, not once was the word colonies/ imperialism was used..

Had this war not broken the back of the Britain, it would have gone and ruled many countries for a much longer time.. This absolutely does not mean that Hitler was right in doing what he did.. But please stop portraying as if Britain was holier than thou..

    Manufactured Drama
The historical geo-political narrative of this movie is interesting and compelling. But per usual they have to drum up some manufactured personal drama between a man who 'works too much' and his wife/family. In this case the dialogue is exceptionally bad with the man jumping to awful attack that no intelligent person (which he otherwise is) would say, presumably for the purpose of drummed up strife by the writers who can't come up with anything better. So tired of that narrative and it really brought down what could have been a good movie. Next time skip the personal drama and just give me the politics of war.

    Resistance is never futile
A heartbreaker! An intense battle of wits!! The courages resistance that lit the first match against the genocidal demon. This masterpiece draws a picture of how fighters faught, how abled fled and helpless stood still embracing the chaos.

Beautiful Time travel experience of 2 hours
This is really one of those movies which you should experience yourself. And if you do you will witness some finest direction, acting, screenplay, cinematography, dialogues, music and above all, one of the most beautifully and elegantly crafted world war 2 movie. Very beautiful and chilling at the same time. Highly Recommended. Believe me you don't want to ignore this one.
