    Chinese Communist Party
This looks like the kind of crap the Chinese Communist Party would produce. Watch abomination 'The Wandering Earth' to see the parallels. US Navy funded 'Captain Marvel' aired in China - two weeks earlier - than in the rest of the world. I take it that Marvel said "We're done. All stories are told. Let's sell the franchise to China now." Well done. I'm jealous. Big monsters that appear on the horizon, it is. There is loads of Chinese fantasy-monster movies, and all are terrible. What I don't get is: Why Marvel ? Why superheroes ? What does a superhero add to a fantasy monster flic ? Nothing. That explains the cast. If I was a Chinese movie maker, I would 100% focus on the giant-monster-on-the-horizon scene. Aim for perfection right here. I've seen Chinese movies nail that. But absolutely import the scripts. Buy them on ebay. Anywhere but in China. And don't trust this franchise. Eternals is a disaster. Movie.

How far the mighty MCU hath fallen
Setting up a complex mythology CAN be done well. It wasn't here. Despite tie-ins to the MCU (we've heard talk of Celestials before), this film doesn't work. Hell, it's not even paced well -- something many older MCU movies excel at. It's far too long for the content, and soooo slow. What was the studio thinking?

There ARE interesting moments, sure, and some elements are sufficiently different and/or interesting to have some potential. Alas, it's all wasted with unlikeable characters, an annoying plot, and a pervasive undertone that we, the audience, exist solely to funnel dollars to Marvel Studios and Disney.

Apparently Marvel now thinks a few plot twists, some CGI, and an overly-soapy plot are sufficient to satisfy an audience. Seriously? Was nothing learned from the 22-movie Phase 3 story arc (which Joss Whedon had a major hand in)? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a let-down, but Eternals never gets off the ground. What a waste.

With the possible exceptions of Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Ma Dong-seok, I didn't feel that any of these actors were portraying exceptionally long-lived characters. The believability is just not there.

I give this mess four stars, with a half-star bonus for Angelina Jolie, who played an interesting character with some gravitas, and another for the fun Bollywood meta-humor. That's five (5) stars total.

    Waste of time
Way below Marvel's standards. Poor acting, weak script, forced attempts to maintain character balance and some weird CGI. It's not worth the money spent and quite frankly, directors and producers should not be allowed to create anything similar in the future.

The script has major gaps that are not explained and the ending is both predictable and rushed. The superpowers of certain hero's are also closer to X-men universe rather than Avengers'.

Icaris, would benefit from acting classes. Humour attempts were also bad, I mean, really bad making the movie even more boring. People next to me in the theatre fell asleep.

Great work to bring the story of Eternals
The Eternals are a group of alien creatures that have lived thousands of years on earth. They live side by side with the humans and hide from their identities. A tragedy befell them that forced them out into their true identities. This time, they must fight the ancient enemies of mankind, the Deviants.

Eternals is one of the films that features 10 characters at once or presents the story of another group of superheroes after the Avengers. Bringing 10 characters at once is certainly a challenge for Marvel and Chloe Zhao to bring the story of each Eternals character. As a result, the 10 characters are able to be performed well and interestingly. Moreover, there is one character who was introduced to become a hero in the future of the Marvel universe. Eternals has a story plot that is carried in a complex and dense manner, yet remains neat in its execution. Stories are built with a slow tempo to give time and space in conveying and describing the conflict that is being built. The film is so dense in building stories and conflicts. Although the focus seems to be on the characters Sersi and Ikaris, all superheroes have good roles with stunning action from each character. It's a pity to see Gilgamesh and Ajak who have to die and have not shown their strength on a large scale. The existence of Deviants, who is one of the main enemies, also doesn't talk too much in this film so the impression of making Deviants a scapegoat is not significant.

In addition to presenting the story of 10 good superheroes, Chloe Zhao also did not forget to provide good visuals in this film. The film appears so clear and feels calm. Shot good pictures and not much camera movement is distracting. The costume design also feels good and cool with colors that are not too bright but give a fierce feel. Featuring a cast lineup that looks cool and satisfying. It's unfortunate that this film features scenes that contain LGBT elements. It's quite unpleasant to look at.

Half baked, poor starcast, not the classic MCU film
Lots of plot holes, story was moving too fast, not enough clarification or the clarification was not enough justified. Poor starcast. They could have done a little bit more with Angelina Jolly.

Only good part was Richard Madden aka Ikaris. Total eye candy to watch him.

Normally mcu movies r kids friendly but it has scenes which cant be appropriate for the kids.

Baseless concept, way more complicated. I really couldn't get the point after watching the repeated clips several time.

The only thing i m interested in to watch Ikaris & thena. What is stored for them.

I hope Richard Madden will come back.

Marvel goes woke and flops hard!
This is by far the worst Marvel movie yet. A check-the-box cast that tries to be something to everybody and ends up being nothing. So many of the main characters are insanely annoying and such bad actors. They're just shallow stereotypes.

The premise is so contrived and senseless. By far the weakest storyline of any Marvel movie thus far. I was utterly bored through the movie and only kept watching so I could mark it off list but I wish I had just skipped it. At two and a half hours it is way too long to maintain interest with such bad writing. The only thing that kept me entertained was playing on my phone.

It's another Marvel movie that doesn't feel like it has anything at all to do with the Marvel universe. It's all about girl power overcoming evil man...again... Yawn. Someone let me know when the woke fest is over and we can get back to some actual good stories instead of just pandering.
